Tv/Film intern
Caza Pictures is currently seeking an intern. This role will partake in both film and television. You should be a motivated self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mentality and a strategic thinker. We are positioning ourselves to be a player in global content with top talent and original stories. This role will be a member of a highly collaborative team that will work directly with the development team, head of film and the head of television.
Initial Responsibilities
The TV/Film Intern will shadow and be able to share their creative point of view on content on both sides of development and production
Covering IP (reading books/scripts/articles, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries/films, etc.) and providing write-ups. Tracking stories and people that could be of interest to development team
Build pitch decks
Submit writers and pitches into databases
Create a final presentation surrounding something they are passionate about and present it at the end of their internship
This position will be exposed to the direct inner-workings of the television and film development and current process from beginning to end.
Ideal Candidate
Strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry.
An interest in scripted/non-scripted television, feature films and hunger to learn about development and production.
Strong attention to detail.
Responsible, dependable, and organized with excellent communication/writing skills.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments by deadline.
Experience using Google Suite, MS Office Suite, Canva, Kittl, Photoshop
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) OR must have graduated from a college/university within 1 year at time of application
Previous internship experience with related field.
Be at least 18 years of age
Willing to work in Santa Monica, California if needed
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program Santa Monica, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
This is an UNPAID Internship and the intern is prohibited from having benefits. While there is a possibility that the intern can be hired at the end of the internship there is no guarantee.
